NITROGEN BOOSTING

We supply widespread solutions for the industries of manufacturing, maritime, defense, oil & gas, fire & safety, pet bottle blowing, injection molding, and laser cutting. There are various applications that benefit from nitrogen boosting. We provide systems with capacities from 3.7 to 212 CFM, operating pressures ranging from 120 to 6000 PSI, and engine needs ranging from 1 to 420 hp.

Nitrogen is an inert gas. Even when the laser heats the surface to high temperatures, it does not react with the molten metal. Its role in laser cutting is to keep oxygen out of the cutting zone, preventing oxidation and discoloration of the metal. As a consequence, you'll have a clean edge that won't need to be cleaned up after the cutting is complete.

For the tire filling, the main advantage of nitrogen-filling is that they lose tire pressure more slowly than air-filled tires since the gas in the tire exits at a slower rate than air. The theory is that if you keep your tire pressure steady, you'll get greater gas mileage and tire life since you'll always be rolling on fully inflated tires.

Alkin Booster System for Nitrogen

Efficient Nitrogen Boosting

Alkin Compressors has been a pioneer in compressed air technology for over 40 years. Renowned for our expertise in compressing air, inert, and explosive gas; our range of high pressure nitrogen boosting compressors combine maximum efficiency with extreme reliability – delivering both performance and peace of mind.

Our low pressure stages ensure minimum piston blow-by and oil carryover, and maximum machine reliability and efficiency through the use of our own specification of iron alloy bores, plateau honed to our in house design standards, iron piston rings with optimized geometry and targeted lubrication.

But it’s our high pressure stages that really set us apart from the competition. Decades of development work focusing on minimizing blow-by and oil carryover, maximizing reliability, and allowing extreme ease and speed of maintenance have led us to our revolutionary hardened steel, polished bores combined with polymer piston rings and our revolutionary torus lubrication system.

What’s more, our unique, in-house, surface finish standards, the optimised geometry and materials of our piston rings, and our relentless focus on quality mean oil carryover from the booster is best in class at 3ppm, maximising downstream filter life and minimising compressor oil consumption.

Featuring our revolutionary piston technology, our compact solutions offer maximum output with minimum size and weight, and virtually no gas loss. Combined with our industry leading expertise and specialist support, Alkin Compressors is the perfect partner for your nitrogen boosting systems.

Give your on-site nitrogen generation the competitive edge with Alkin Compressors.

Maximum Efficiency

Alkin Compressors revolutionary piston technology ensures minimum blow-by and oil carryover across both high and low pressure stages. The end result is maximum efficiency and reliability with minimal nitrogen loss, helping you and protecting your bottom line.
